Now this is one funky trio! Made in 1932, this art deco piece packs a lot of punch. The name of this pattern is unknown, but it can be dated to 1932 from the ‘D’ number 5202. The pattern features what appear to be yellow and red bell flowers hanging down from a green vine.

This is a beautiful art deco trio produced by Royal Doulton in 1935. The patter number 776716 on the bottom of the piece indicates that this too was part of the Tango series. It is believed the Tango pattern was introduced by Royal Doulton in 1932. The pointed handle is a distinctive art deco feature of the trio, as is the simple nature of the pattern. ‘V’ numbers were given to ivory bodied china during this period.

This is a classic art deco design by Royal Doulton. Tango is a sought after pattern produced by Royal Doulton during the art deco period. There have been many variations to the Tango pattern, some being rarer to find than others. This example features the classic art deco pointed handle, with a gold and black design. This Tango trio features the ‘V’ number 1481 on the bottom in black paint. ‘V’ numbers were almost always used after 1927 on ivory tinted china. The 7 on the bottom indicates it was made in 1934.
